I used this SIM kit to re-activate my wife's old S8. It installed in the SIM tray very easily and was able to activate to the familiar Verizon service plan. I had the option of choosing from multiple new numbers for the phone. You can also bring your old Google and Samsung accounts when initializing the phone. It activated very quickly. I changed from a "GLOBAL" network to a "CDMA/LTE" network for use in the US. It gave a bit stronger antenna signal.
