I talked to the technical dept at Victrola and I was told there is no way to reset the volume. This is the default and they couldn't explain why. I returned the item for that reason.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.What I do is always have the remote in my hand when I turn mines on. Press the power button then quickly turn on the cd/aux selection or the phono. Any other mode will give you time to turn the sound down.
