• You can save your video to your computer. I would think that you could then save it to a flash drive if your system will allowed.

• You don't need a disc player. You can store the videos as movie files on your computer and transfer them to flash drives or just watch them on your computer using a media player.

• Yes, this product requires an optical drive. An external drive can be used if there is not one on the computer itself.
