This product will let you assemble photo slideshows and burn to DVDs. It does not burn individual pictures to CD, but you may already be able to do that in Windows directly. The oldest version this was tested for previously with was Windows Vista, however, current updates are only designed and tested for Windows 8 and newer. For Windows 7 and earlier, 1 GB RAM should be sufficient as a minimum requirement. For newer Windows versions, 4 GB RAM would be recommended for the system to have.
