I live out on the country with no internet, will this device work if I go to a friend's house that has internet and after downloading the software. Will it work then? Also will this device work on amy VCR or do I need a specific kind? null

As long as the VHS player has the RCA outs, it should work. Once I downloaded the software it installed and worked without any issues. Very intuitive to use.

This product will work without the Internet after installing it. As a safety net, please keep a downloaded copy of the full software, the device driver, and the User Guide. This will give you what you need to operate or even reinstall it for troubleshooting if needed without an Internet connection. You can use any standard working VCR with RCA and/or S-Video outputs. It is a good idea to test the VCR to a TV first with the selected connection type (e.g. RCA) to make sure it is in good working order.
