“I own a Lenovo thinkcentre m73 and i am looking for a portable monitor for it. But it only has a display port and vga video out. Is there an adaptor that would work to change those over to what this needs or will it have to use a usb port?”

Display port to HDMI dongle used with provided HDMI to mini HDMI on monitor will work for video but you will still need USB A from computer to USB C on screen for power.
