Q: QuestionA review said the speakers don't have much output and won't replace external speakers and needs a 3.5mm port. Is this true? I'm looking for built-in speakers so I don't have to use a headset, I already have a headphone jack on my computer.

• A:Answer The internal speakers are relatively low powered compared to dedicated external speakers. However, you don't need a 3.5mm connection if you connect using HDMI or another cable that transmits audio. If you use VGA which does not carry audio, you will need a 3.5mm connection into the monitor.
