Hello, what are the dimensions of your trash compactor slot? This unit is 14 3/4" wide, 22 1/2" deep, and 33 3/8" tall. You will need to leave a 1/4" on each side to fit the unit in easily. A typical trash compactor is about 15" wide, 34" tall, and 24" deep, so you should have a good amount of space to fit in this cooler if your trash compactor is standard.
