It can be started with a smart phone using the bluetooth option which isn’t all that good on the range. If you want unlimited range, you’ll need to buy the smart start module which is $199. There’s a fee to install that & you get anfree trial offer before it would have to go to a paid subscription to keep the unlimited range smart start option.
