There is no monthly fee if you are connecting via bluetooth. The app itself is free and setup is relatively easy. As long as you are within bluetooth range of the vehicle, you can start, unlock, lock the vehicle. If you are using the GPS add-on however, this does have a monthly fee associated to be able to control the vehicle from anywhere.
