A:AnswerI have a 2018 Equinox with keyless entry and it works great. just make sure the installer shows you where the valet button is so you can sync your phone to the remote start. I asked my installer about the phone app and he said the app will give me step by step instructions . Which it did unfortunately the installer never showed me where my valet button is. So I'm not able to use my phone to start my car. As far as additional items I do not know. Your installer should be able to help you with that.

Problem would be, if you had to pay to have it removed, you wouldn’t save any money and no pro shop is going to install a used unit.
