I put this on my 2014 Nissan Altima due to me having music and after market rims on my car. My car came with remote start from Nissan and I just left it in place and as mentioned above I use this alarm system for security and peace of mind. I use to live in New York City and its needed. But just remember to always hit your viper alarm to deactivate it before you get into the vehicle.
