Unfortunately TV repairs for screen damage or failure will almost always cost more than the value of the TV itself. The exact cost for repair is not determined until it is sent to a service center and they perform a full diagnostic. Usually you would pay a deposit covering the shipping and diagnostic and then they contact you with the repair cost. But with the cost of labor and the cost of the part, outside of any type of coverage, the repair will cost more than the TV is worth.
