Yes, speaking just from my own experience, my laptop was hacked, the screen was locked, my PIN was changed, and I had no access to my own machine. I took it to the Geek Squad, they were friendly and professional, and had it wiped and restored in two days. It's back home now, and I've had no problems at all.
