“I'm a Verizon customer & have been for over 10 yrs. I know this NEW Visible phone is also by Verizon. How would that work? Would I lose my status of being a long time customer? I'm really happy with Verizon & this phone is within my budget. Thanks!!”

If your status with Verizon is important, then yes. Because you would not be with Verizon but Visible. Verizon owns Visible but there are some noticeable differences. One, no stores. Two, online help only. Three, you save a bunch of cash.
