But a Best Buy employee did exactly that for me after I tried to do it myself at home and kept hitting an endless loop. And I am a former telecom employee so I DID know what I was doing. But it just wouldn’t work. I drove back to the store., let him know what I was trying to do, and he had it working in 5 minutes. So I would say, try doing it yourself, but when you buy the porting kit, ask a Best Buy employee if you can’t get it to work, can you come back, can they help you? That’s what I did, and they did it for me.
