That is correct. You can activate the plan through the app. DO NOT cancel you current plan. You must get a port PIN from verizon if you plan on using your current number. It is an easy process, just make sure to have that before you start the process through the Visible app. Each phone will have it's own Visible account. Use the app to make sure your current phone is supported.

The representatives at Best Buy can sell you the SIM kit, but they cannot log in and activate the service for you. Instead, they will send you an automated email using one of their applications which has a link to begin activation. If you are planning to keep your phone number, do not cancel your current Verizon plan yet. If you cancel before your Visible service is fully active, you could lose your number permanently.
