I just purchased, from B.B., a VIZO SB2920-D6 sound bar to connect to a Sony KLD-32bx420. I'm using the optical cable to connect it. The TV doesn't have any PCM setting. I get sound from the TV to the sound bar but not Netflix sound from DVR. Help... null

i had the same issue, i ended up having to run a optical feom my direct tv dvr to sound bar, and audio cables from tv. to sound bar. so now if i wanna watch anything from dvr, hafta use 1st setting, and if i wanna watch dvd player, i hafta use the 3rd setting

It's not ideal but the red and white RCA cords seem to be the fix
