• i had the same issue, i ended up having to run a optical feom my direct tv dvr to sound bar, and audio cables from tv. to sound bar. so now if i wanna watch anything from dvr, hafta use 1st setting, and if i wanna watch dvd player, i hafta use the 3rd setting
