Your blu-ray player must have another audio output besides the hdmi ports. You use the hdmi port for video like you always do and the other audio port (hopefully coaxial or toslink (optical) that will plug right in to the bar.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you mean how do you play a movie through the soundbar or how do you use the soundbar (to say play music) while the BR is showing something else? If it's a movie through the soundbar - you plug in the BR player into the soundbar, and the soundbar into the TV. If you want to watch something while listening to something else on the soundbar, you just change the input on the soundbar.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you connect all of the devices to the display and then connect the sound bar to the TV through an audio out all audio should come through the sound bar. You may need to adjust audio settings depending on the TV.
