“I have bad speaker in my tv will it turn it off when it is hooked up”

• The answer to this question will depend on your TV's settings and features. A VIZIO TV will turn off the internal speakers when an external audio device is attached.

• The soundbar takes over for your TV speakers. If this is connected via the eARC or ARC HDMI connection, it will act as an extension of the TV. You can use your standard remote you normally use to control the bar. It basically eliminates your TV speakers. If you use the optical connector, then turn your TV volume all the way down and use the provided remote to control the soundbar volume. Your TV speakers are moved out of the equation in both setups.

• You have to go to menu on tv remote , go to audio , then go to speaker off. this will cut tv speakers off.
