“Are the optical cables shipped with protective caps on them. My daughter was having trouble connecting it to her TV and I thought maybe that could be the problem? Do not want her to damage anything. Thanks”

• Yes they were shipped with protective tips that need to be removed.

• The cable does not ship with a cover over the end on the port however there are times that the optical cable needs pressure applied to insert in the port.
