Through the USB port this sound bar only supports .wav format files from a flash drive. You can connect other devices through the variety of inputs including Digital Optical and Analog L/R.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First things first, this will not play anything, it is a speaker and only puts out sound provided by a connected device. As long as the device can play the media, the speaker will put out the audio. If you connect this to your AV Receiver, and play your CDs from a CD player or Bluray Player also connected to the AV receiver, then yes you will hear music. You may also play directly from a device using an Optical cable from the device to the sound bar bypassing the AV Receiver altogether. I have mine connected to my Smart TV and get audio from the TV itself as well as the Bluray Player I have connected to it. I often play music from my phone via the Bluetooth as well.
