• Press menu then subwoofer will show up on the remote and you use the same +- for volume

• You can adjust the bass level as well as the subwoofer level. Both of these options are in the remote. There are no knobs on the subwoofer. Subwoofer level is how loud the subwoofer plays the bass signal. The bass level adjusts the bass signal prior to sending that signal to the bass.
