Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to make sure you have something connected from the tv to the bar and every tv is different . Like if your new tv uses a optical cord, you have to connect the cord from the bar into your tv to hear the sound. I have Samsung tv and This Visio and it uses the optical cord and without it the sound won’t work. Hope this helps
