“I am trying to figure out if my remote is not working correctly....if I am sitting on my couch, the remote will not work. I basically have to be standing right in front of the sound bar. Is this normal?”

• Check/ change the battery in the remote. If still not working return for a new one.

• We have ours in bedroom & are 10-12 feer away & the remote works great. Make sure remote has clean line of sight to TV sensor.
