“With the soundbar off while watching TV I will turn up the volume from the TV remote and the soundbar will then turn on with volume control from my TV remote, how do I stop this? Thanks, Jim”

• Your TV seems to be paired to the sound bar. Go into your TV settings for sound or Bluetooth devices and see if you can unpair the soundbar.

• You must disable tv from remote. On the sound bar, hold down power button and volume up together for 5 seconds. I assume you have a Vizio tv.

• Personally I turn the audio off on the TV in the settings menu and only use the sound bar for audio.
