I have a Samsung TV as well but am not having that problem. My sound bar is connected via the optical cable instead of the HDMI as my HDMI's are taken up by my cable box and Blu-Ray player. Hopefully the TV is not reverting to factory settings each time you turn the TV off. Also, are you also turning off the sound bar each time you turn off the TV? I wouldn't think this would be a problem but you never know. My Samsung occassionally wants me to specify a new source when initially turned on. May have to do with my cable box being updated but again not sure and is only a minor pain. You might try switching to the optical cable to see if there's any change. Hope it works out for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Maybe 5 years ago I had one just like this in Visio brand but $160/170 price point and I hooked up to my LG 4K Ultra and it did same every single time. And the sub had to be repaired to bar every time! Within a few months the sub just stopped working or stopped pairing and I lost the instructions ended up just trashing the whole thing under 6 months now I’m scared to buy this one. Please come back and let us know what you find.
