This 24" TV has speakers on the bottom facing downward, if sitting on a hard surface the sound will deflect and sound fine for talking. It is loud enough for the senior ears to hear, But if you want to watch music videos this will need a sound bar like any other small TV. What I love is you can stream 250 watch free channels to this set without even buying an antenna. I would recommend this TV for any bedroom or kitchen counter, fits anywhere and has a great picture at 1080p, Enjoy !
