Vudi is one of the built in apps that is already on your TV. If you set up your computer to have dual monitors, you can connect an HDMI cable from your computer to your TV and use it as a 2nd monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm told it has the Vudu app. I havn't purchased yet, but I plan to do the same thing as you - with a laptop / pc and this as a second screen. I've done it with other brands and had no trouble, even on TVs that are 5-10 years old. You will need an HDMI out on your laptop though (and hook it up to the tv that way), because I don't think this has screen mirroring. It doesn't have blutooth, so no ability to send your signal wirelessly. Other than that, no worries. I own a couple vizios and they're pretty good. I like Samsung best, but they don't make a 24" - which is what I need. Vizio is my best bet for that size.
