When attempting to cast from a mobile device to your TV, both the mobile device and TV need to be connected to same Wi-Fi network. If using your mobile device as a hotspot, you will want to check with your service provider or device support to ensure that your mobile device will be able to connect to the hotspot network at the same time as it is being hosted.
