That’s correct. Connect to wireless internet connection and also through smartphone Apple play or chrome cast as long as it is connected to the same WiFi.

This tv connects wirelessly to internet for subscriber based programming. The built in apps are very good. Also, you can easily use google chrome cast and Apple air play to transmit and control channels and programming from your smartphone.
