Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, dialogue is improved, in my opinion, with the middle channel. It has pretty much every possible connection option from RCA to HDMI. So as long as your TV has audio output, it will work. If your TV has HDMI-CEC then you can control the volume using your TV's remote control. Otherwise you must use the Vizio remote or manual button on the speaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i have a smaller TV so I purchased the 2.0 Vizio sound bar. The sound quality is amazing for the price. I didn't want to deal with a sub woofer and was supersized at the range of sound from the Vizio soundbar. A great feature not listed is the LED display on the front of the speaker which allows you to see the mode, and volume. As far as the remote the one supplied is simple to use. The tech specs show the 38" 3.0 soundbar supports ARC HDMI so if your TV has that feature I believe you can buy that ARC HDMI cable and program your remote. I would check the manual for your TV.
