• Yes and no. I have Directv and the tv remote works the on/off, sound,picture,Netflix etc. I use The Directv remote for channel usage.

• Yes, however, keep the tv remote handy for the TV's additional features...like Netflix and smart functions.

• It works well with Dish remote. I am sure it will do well on Direct TV.
