The effective refresh rate is 120Hz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just asked this exact question before finding out that it has already been asked. I have tried it connected to my devices (PS4, Blue Ray Player and GTX690 Video Card) via HDMI and have not yet seen it go to 120hz. When I modified the PC refresh rate to 120hz it went into an absolute fit of flashing black and white light before reverting to my previous rate (thank goodness for the "are you sure you want this setting" question). We'll see if Vizio answers, but my experience so far has been "No". Nvidia does not recognize it as 120hz either.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not according to the salesman at the Walker, MI/Alpine Ave store, who told us that no Vizio's were actually 120Hz, but that Vizio's "Effective Refresh Rate"...was really 60Hz. Oh and who also that ALL Vizio's were ""all made from surplus junk, left-over parts, and mostly cheap parts". He even told us that the Vizio 4K Home Theater TV (which showed 120Hz on its store card & website) was actually 60Hz, saying "you can't believe any Vizio specification." What a great un-salesman!
