“If this is a smart tv why does it not say so in the product listing heading ? Will it do everything that other smart TV's on the market will do ?”

• It does but it exploits the "cast" function to do this using a smartphone or tablet. The only thing I don't think it does is Amazon Prime streaming (no contract with them I guess).
