Is Samsung better than Vizio brand in televisions? null

I have two Vizio Tv's 55 inch and 40 internet WiFi models. Both continue to work exceptionally well. The prices were excellent and they have both worked as advertised.

I have a 60" 4K ultra VIZIO which I love. So many options for picture and sound. The 40" I purchased is almost too simplistic, no options for sound adjustment, picture adjustment etc... at least that I can figure out. Whether it's better than a Samsung I can't say. I will say that the 4K Ultra was the best TV that was available in my price range. I have always owned Sony's, but they have become stupid expensive, and the picture is not that much better than the VIZIO. If I had to do it over again, I would have looked at more TV's in the 40" range. The price was right, but I wish it had more "buzzers & whistles".
