“If this TV can be connected directly to cable box using coaxial cable, why can it not record to the cable box as a “regular” tv does? Want to record ABC while watching NBC, is this possible to do?”

• This is a display not a DVR. How many channels you can record simultaneously depends on your DVR / service provider.

• The television does have a built in coaxial tuner for over the air channels or direct cable connection. The television does not have a DVR capability. That would be a function that is built into your cable box or other source device.
