This display is a 60hz panel. The 240 motion rate is a combination of backlight scanning/blinking and likely black frame insertion. To support 1080p @ 120hz (fps) you'll need a native 120hz panel and an HDMI input and high enough bandwidth to support 120fps. Sorry so long winded, but the simple answer is no.
