“this vizio device states that it comes with a 6" Tablet Remote..why does it not? i would like my remote please...so how do i go about getting it? it was one of the main reasons i purchased this device”

I agree. I thought the same thing. False advertising if you ask me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine came with a remote. It's not a "tablet" remote or water that is. It's like a regular normal remote. However the tv lets me use my smartphone as a separate remote with the SmartCast app.

Instead of purchasing a tablet remote you can use a smart phone or tablet you currently own with Android version 4.4 or higher or iOS 8.0 or higher and download the SmartCast App from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store and have the same functions.
