Q: QuestionDoes the tv talk directly to the phone via wifi, or does it have to be routed through the wireless router? IE, I had to move my wireless router into the room with the tv to set it up because the signal was weak. I'm far from the router normally.

• A:Answer You have to connect it to a router to get on the internet to get full functions out of this Monitor! It is not a TV as there is no TV tuner built in.

Q: Questionwhy do you call this a tv when responding to questions, it has no tuner and is therefor just a monitor/display as the name suggest? soes it have a tuner that can be enabled with a code as other brands have?

• A:Answer You are correct. This should be thought of as a glorified computer monitor. It does have ChromeCast built in, but it does not have coaxial in or a TV tuner. Also, you must use an app on your smartphone to control the settings on the TV. You cannot access the TV settings menu using the remote provided by the manufacturer.

• A:Answer There isn't a built in tuner but we do include a complimentary HDMI cable to provide a higher resolution image from cable and satellite boxes. Inexpensive tuners can be added to receive over the air signals. Thanks! -Randal
