This model will connect with Bluetooth smart phones and tablets that support Bluetooth LE for use with the VIZIO SmartCast Remote app. There is also an optical audio and a red and white RCA audio out connection that can be used for connected external audio devices. -Jesse

All apps are accessed by Casting them from your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. It must be running iOS 8.0 or higher or Android 4.4 or higher. You can pair them with the VIZIO SmartCast™ application available for free download in both app stores. You can Cast many popular applications such as HBO NOW, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Spotify, VUDU, and hundreds more!     • Answer The sound quality is about average. If this TV is used as your primary you may want to consider and Audio Surroundsound system to complement the internal Audio.
