“Is it worth getting protection plan? Does the tv have any defects that it dies within two years?”

• YES...I and friends have had poor experience with VIZIOs dying just out of Warranty, or having other screen defects. They are very firm about their warranty period - 12 months and a day and fuggetaboutit.

• We decided Not to purchase exstended warrenty as our Credit Card has an one year free major purchase added warrenty. Our other two Vizio's we got extra coverage but never needed it. Vizio is a top quality manufacturer.
