• You can use Atmos audio from a device directly connected to the sound bar. If you are passing audio from your television you would need to ensure the television can pass DD+ Atmos content.

• The device connected to the soundbar needs to support Dolby Atmos. My Samsung tv does not support Atmos, but my Sony UHD Blu-ray player does and sounds great. I have the Blu-ray player hooked to the HDMI In port on the soundbar, and my tv to the HDMI ARC.

• Not necessarily but your TV should support the HDMI and CEC to get best audio experience.
