This sound bar will pass through 4K and Dolby Vision, HDR10 formats.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tyler, you answered this question 3 weeks ago, I have been googling for this answer for many hours b/c I have a Samsung series 6 and 4K HDR will NOT pass through, you are the only one on many forums that specifically addressed this situation! The Samsung did not even allow me to choose 4K HDR (from Apple TV 4K) when using ARC through the Vizio soundbar. After doing a firmware update on the soundbar, it then allowed me to choose 4K HDR option, but the screen flickers and crackles on that format. It's kind of a big deal b/c if it's specifically with Samsung tvs I am going to return it for another 75" tv.....not a small task to load up a 75" tv so if you happen to see this can you answer back if you believe the 4K HDR will pass through on another model tv? thank you. I wish there was a way to chat you directly so just hoping you happen to see this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the Vizio SB36512-F6 sound bar connected to the HDMI ARC port on my Vizio TV P55-F1 and my PS5 connected to the sound bar. I have to turn Full UHD Color (ie. HDR) off to get a picture. I chatted with a Vizio rep today (1/10/2021) and they said that it does NOT support the bandwidth. If I play a movie that has Atmos with HDR off, Atmos works fine, but when I turn HDR back on, I lose my video signal. This seems like a glaring problem, and possibly false advertising.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. They will say YES. But in real life it can’t passthrough 4k HDR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From my understanding and research the 4k hdr pass through issues are only with people using apple tv but works fine on any other devices and streaming platforms like vudu, netflix ect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This doesn't support HDR passthrough on samsung tvs
