Yes, this system supports DTS 5.1. No, the system does not have DTS:x.

It does not support dts:x but it will play dts 5.1 just fine. It does have dts:virtual x, but that is more for if you do not want to use the height speakers and would rather create virtual height speakers from the 5.1 system.

This sound system has DTS Virtual:X and will also support DTS Digital Surround 5.1 as well as DTS HD Master Audio.
