This will depend on your seating area. Obviously you want them higher than the backrest of the couch/chair etc. If you are thinking of mounting near the ceiling you will definitely want an angled speaker mount to direct the sound down. If your speakers are being mounted to floor stands, speakers are typically around 36" off the floor. So mounting the satellite speakers to the wall with the included pucks would be good to mimic that same height range.
