• Atmos content can be played, however you will lose the full Atmos experience due to not being able to properly direct the audio upward, but the rear speakers will still be able to direct the rear audio only upward.

• No, ATMOS content is supposed to come from above. This nit bounces sound off the ceiling for the coming from above effect.
