Hello Gadgetman, That is correct the cables from the rear speakers to the Sub woofer are RCA cables one for each speaker. The upfiring speakers are manufacturer to the sound bar and rotate upwards not cable connection for those speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No its just dual rca cables, attached, running to the speaker, with 2 prong connections on the ends. Its plug and play, and works with the same sanus speaker stand as any other vizio rear speaker. The 2 prong connection is a bit wider, but doesn't stick out further. I'm not able to get a great picture at the moment, so I'll post one that I've already taken. I'm not sure it will help, but hopefully it does
