Is this system self powered? null

I'm not sure what you mean exactly by "self-powered." My only guess is that you're asking if the speakers in this system are active vs. passive (passive speakers don't have the amplification built in, so they need to be connected to an external amplifier). This system (like most soundbars) would be considered active since it uses built-in amplification to power its speakers, making it essentially "plug-and-play."

The sound bar and subwoofer would both need to be connected to a nearby power outlet. The rear satellite speakers would then be connected directly to the subwoofer.
