- Answer Turn the sub volume way down and then turn night mode on. You'll get good sound but that will modulate the booms and some of the peak sound.

QuestionWhat’s the difference between the M51AX-J6 model and M51a-H6 models

- Answer There is very little difference between those two models. The M51a-H6 offers a better latency performance and reproduces a more extended low-bass output. The M51ax-J6 supports up to 7.1 channels of PCM audio, while the M51a-H6 only supports 5.1 channels.

QuestionOptic output from LG TV to Vizio M51ax-J6 does not work. The signal is getting from the TV to the soundbar end of the optic cable. Looking into the soundbar optic socket I see only what looks like black plastic or foam. Doesn't look like other sockets.

QuestionWill running Xbox in and out to the tv effect the 4k 120hz capability?

- Answer Probably not, 120hz is mostly a myth since only a few titles come close anyway. This setup will not improve frame rate, but also shouldn't diminish it.

QuestionWhen using the hdmi 2.1 earc from my xbox series s to the tv with the video set at 1440p at 120fps and then using a 2.1 to go to soundbar that is only capable of 4k with dolby vision would that cause interference and have a sound cut out problem

- Answer I bought this system after being told it was Smartcast enabled by an answer on this thread says answered by vizio , after bringing it home unboxing it and setting it up. I found out for myself it is Not SmartCast enabled and I texted vizio and they confirmed this. Said their 799 unit is smartcast. Could not find that in that units specifications either SmartCast is one of the important features i was expecting since the system i am replacing had SmartCast , feel like i got down graded. Thanks for the mis information vizio and best buy

QuestionDoes this unit output Dolby atmos over HDMI ARC or will I have to use eARC? Cant seem to get atmos to work over ARC.

- Answer It would have to be eARC even then this isn’t a true atmos set up, (it’s simulated but still good) you’d have to go with the next step up which is a huge jump in price. Those have the true upfacing speakers for the atmos depth

QuestionI understand that this is not true dolby atmos but How Do I know it its producing atmos when I am watching a 4k that supports atmos? It kept saying it was DTS. It gave me the option in 4k player to chose atmos on the movie menu but it says DTS.

- Answer It will display a green LED for 5 seconds in the bottom left corner then it will fade away when it detects Dolby atmos content, and from what I’ve heard from my system it’s true Dolby atmos sound.

QuestionI don't have an ARC port on my TV, so if I hook up my Fire TV stick to soundbar and output back to TV will the audio be synced and video quality remain the same? And will Atmos work with optical cable?

- Answer In regard to your first question, I'm not sure, but I would think that whether or not the audio will be synced would depend on your TV model. In regard to your 2nd question: No, Dolby Atmos content CANNOT be delivered through optical connections because optical cables are only capable of transmitting 5.1 channels of audio.

- Answer after about 7-8 months mines still as it was when i purchased. i have not tried to take mine swimming or run it over with a vehicle so i cannot speak to how well it will hold up in these instances. but being mounted to my tv it seems to do its job as intended

- Answer Streaming music via Bluetooth and listening through headphones via Bluetooth are completely different things. And why wouldn’t you just connect your device (phone, iPod, etc.. ) to your headphones using Bluetooth anyhow?
